App, Browser, Code, and Terminal moments show as markers and in the companion rail. Click one and playback jumps there. The recording owner can turn each context category off for viewers.

See how many views a recording has, how many people watched, and how far they got. A view counts after five seconds. Owners can leave their own views out of the totals.
Where does the 500 come from?
At 0:41 the POST to /api/checkout returned 500 after the second click. The retry code is open at 1:03 in route.ts, lines 231 to 241.
Ask a question about the recording. A small language model runs in your browser with WebGPU. It answers from the title, chapters, transcript, and context of this recording. Shoyu servers do not see the question.
Trim the start and the end. Cut a range from the middle. Set the volume of the system audio and each microphone. Combine two recordings into one. Then save, or save and upload.
Your Mac makes the transcript from your microphone, on the device. Each line is a link into the video. Captions are on by default. The owner can correct a line in the transcript editor.

Each recording is Private, open to your Organization, or open to Anyone with the link. Your organization can turn off external links for every recording. A closed page does not say whether the recording exists.
The timeline
Comments, reactions, and context moments sit on the timeline as icons. Each layer has its own switch, so a viewer sees only what they want.
