What Shoyu captures, and what it never does.
Shoyu records the screen or window you point it at and keeps the names of things, not their contents; they only show up in the recorded video if they were on screen. This page states the defaults and the boundaries plainly, without a badge wall.

- Terminal output as a replay
- Your microphone, if you turn it on
- Your screen, obviously

Who’s in charge
Your organization sets the rules.
Owners and admins set one policy for the team. The policy applies to every new recording. This page describes the defaults, and it changes when they do.
Owners choose the layers
Owners and admins turn each context layer on or off for the team: App, Browser, Code, and Terminal. A layer that is off is not captured in new recordings for the team.

Every recording has a visibility
A recording can be private, so only you can watch it; shared with your organization, so your teammates can watch it; or public, so anyone with the link can watch it.

Public links are a team decision
External links are off until an owner turns them on. While they are off, no one in the team can make a recording Public. If they are turned off later, the default visibility becomes Organization.

Members can connect two recordings they can already watch. Owners and admins can limit this to admins only.
