Install the IDE extension
Add Shoyu Code Context to VS Code, Cursor or Devin Desktop, sign in, and connect it to the Mac app.
Install it
The extension works in VS Code, Cursor and Devin Desktop (formerly Windsurf). The Mac app installs it for you.
- In the Mac app’s setup, on the Set up Deep Context step, click Install on the Code Context card.
- Shoyu installs the extension into each of those editors it finds, and reports how each one went.
- Reload any editor window that was already open.
If an editor fails or times out, click Retry. You can also install the extension file by hand, for example with code --install-extension shoyu-ide-context.vsix.
- In the editor, open the Command Palette and run Shoyu: Sign In.
- Your browser opens Shoyu. Click Authorize.
- The browser sends you back to the editor, which shows Signed into Shoyu Code Context as your email.
