Replay a terminal session

In the browser

1. Open the recording. When a terminal session overlaps the current time, the player shows Show terminal.
2. Click it. The replay takes over the player and stays in time with the video.
3. Press esc or click Show video to go back.

The Context tab lists every session under Terminal, with Show terminal and Download asciicast.

shoyu play https://www.shoyu.cc/r/<recording-id>

You can also pass a downloaded .cast file. If a recording has several sessions, shoyu play asks which one to play. It offers to shorten long pauses, and --speed sets the playback speed.

For a recording that is not Public, shoyu play uses the Mac app’s sign-in. Without the Mac app, run shoyu terminal auth first.
