Draw arrows and boxes

Point things out with arrows and boxes that appear at the right moment.

Add a drawing

The Markup tool with Arrow and Box, colour, thickness and motion.
  1. Move the playhead to where the drawing should appear.
  2. Click Markup and choose Arrow or Box.
  3. Draw it on the video.
  4. Choose a colour, fill and thickness, and how it appears: Draw, Fade or None.

Drag its ends on the filmstrip to set how long it shows. Use Bring to front and Send to back when drawings overlap.

If the playhead is outside a drawing’s time, Studio says Outside this drawing and offers Take me there.
